Greenmarket Moves Back North to 17th Street Tomorrow!!!

BULLETIN! The Saturday market will be back on the North side of Union Square tomorrow!!!!

Berried Treasure has gorgeous cabbages, sunchokes, and several kinds of potato. They'll be here the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, as will Oak Grove, Paffenroth, Quattro's, all the usual Wednesday stands and several of the Saturday farms. (Oak Grove will be here on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but many stands will not.)

Yuno is here today with great cauliflower varieties, white and orange cauliflower, several kinds of greens, and tomatoes. Oak Grove and Stokes also have tomatoes and Oak Grove has various pumpkins and squashes as well as flours, popping corn, pancake mixes, and many delicious pies. Samascott has apples, cider donuts, apple cake, and ciders. The Vermont maple syrup people have some delicious new flavored syrups, including raspberry and ginger, as well as their excellent variety of plain maple syrups and candies.

Dancing Ewe's season will be ending in a couple of weeks, so get their tasty lamb and cheeses while you can. Flying Pig is here with pork and chicken products, including rendered leaf lard and chicken livers.
