The Greenmarket is almost a full market today, with plenty of produce, cheese, milk, bread, and other delicious items. Only Quattro's, Flying Pig, and Violet Hill are not here -- oh, and the cranberry farmer is gone, too. S&SO is here with great vegetables and herbs, Paffenroth has their excellent wide variety of potatoes, onions, and other root vegetables, and Miglorelli has good looking fennel, carrots, and spinach, as well as apples, cider, and other treats. Stokes Farm has tasty cut herbs, herb wreaths, and their very good herb vinegar (I've been giving the vinegar for Christmas presents).
Mountain Sweet Berry has beautiful Christmas wreaths and garland as well as the lovely little potatoes I used under my Quattro's capon for Thanksgiving. Keith's delicious shallots went under the bird as well, along with tiny turnips from D'Attolico. While I'm at it, I should mention that we served Beth's Jam's knockout cranberry sauce. She's here today with jams and chutneys, cranberry items, and prettily wrapped items for gifts.
Oak Grove has pork products, pastries, pumpkins, and peppers! Cato's here with Bridgid's Abbey, Farmstead, and other fine cheeses, and Ronnybrook has eggnog, various milks, yogurt, ice cream, and cheeses.
River Garden has beautiful dried flowers and other stands have potted flowering plants.
