Greenmarket Moves Back North Next Saturday!!

Order your Thanksgiving bird from Quattro's -- turkey, pheasant, or capon -- and pheasant sausage stuffing as well or talk to Violet Hill or Flying Pig about holiday poultry and meat.

Cherry Lane has sweet potatoes, Paffenroth has a wide variety of potatoes large and small, and Mountain Sweet Berry has delicious tiny European potatoes.

Norwich has a good looking cauliflower mix -- orange, white, and purple. Northshire has big, beautiful greens. Oak Grove, Cherry Lane, and Eckerton have tomatoes. Eckerton and Oak Grove have delicious hot peppers.Shushan is here with tomatoes and fresh cut herbs. Stokes has beautiful herb wreaths, squash, heirloom tomatoes, and other produce.

Mountain Sweet Berry has brought in frozen shelled flageolets and tarbais beans, which are great but need to be cooked this weekend.

This is the last Saturday market for Valley Shepherd cheeses this season, but they will be here on Wednesdays. A few stands will also lose their Saturday spots while the Christmas Market is here.

BULLETIN! The Saturday market will be back on the North side of Union Square next Saturday!!!
