Fall Season Sugar Snaps!!

Oak Grove has a Fall crop of sugar snap peas! Berried Treasure has several shell and string bean varieties as well as wild blueberries, strawberries, gold and red raspberries, and squashes. Norwich, Sycamore, Stokes, Oak Grove, Cheerful Cherry and others have heirloom tomatoes, and Oak Grove and Cheerful Cherry have peaches. Cheerful also has raspberries. Samascott and Sycamore have corn, and Samascott and Miglorelli have a wide selection of good looking produce.

Last night was cool and tonight is expected to be even cooler, so things like heirloom tomatoes and peaches are heading for disappearance soon. If you love them, you don't have much longer to enjoy them. The farmers say that they've had pumpkins for a month, although they haven't brought them in yet, and several farms are bringing in grapes and mums. Just saying ...
