Fairytale eggplant! Corn! Okra!

Cherry Lane has tiny Fairytale purple and white eggplants. Evolutionary, Oak Grove, and Cherry Lane have various types of okra. Eckerton, Oak Grove, Cherry Lane, and Sycamore have heirloom tomatoes. The big hit of the day is beans -- all kinds of beans, from Berried Treasures purple and green stringbeans, delicious Romano flat beans, and favas to Cherry Lane's string beans and Mountain Sweet Berry's haricots verts, there are many farmstands with tasty varieties.

Many stands also have corn, including Eckerton, Sycamore, and Cherry Lane. Stokes Farm has great looking onions and garlic as well as big bunches of cut herbs, and Berried Treasures has chamomile. Miglorelli has a wide variety of good-looking produce.

Peaches are coming in and Terhune, Oak Grove, and others have them as well as apricots and other stone fruit. Berried Treasures has big succulent strawberries and blackberries, and Fantasy Fruit has blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries.

Ronnybrook has drinkable yogurt, both plain and fruit flavored, and some of the best butter to be had in the city, both flavored (garlic) and salt or sweet.
