Peaches! Eggplants! Nectarines! Squashes!

Just had a slurpy sweet and delicious peach from Cheerful Cherry! Locust Grove, Terhune, Breezy Hill, and Oak Grove also have great peaches. In fact, it is a great peach and nectarine year! Heirloom tomatoes are also having a great season, with Eckerton, Stokes, Norwich Meadow, Oak Grove, Sycamore, Cheerful Cherry, and others bringing in a wide variety of tasty beauties. Eggplants and squashes are also having an excellent season, especially those from Norwich, Stokes, Oak Grove, Sycamore, and Cherry Lane. You can find terrific sweet and hot peppers at Eckerton, Oak Grove, and S&SO. Stokes has the widest variety of cut herbs, including Thai basil and other basils, lemongrass, chives, lemon thyme and other thymes, and many others. Caradonna has blackberries.

Mountain Sweet Berry has beautiful sucrine lettuce and Northshire has wild cress, allegretti, and other greens. Windfall has all sorts of unusual greens, edible flowers, zucchini blossoms, and tiny fresh gherkins. Gorzynsky and Keith(both organic) have beautiful lettuces and other greens and Keith also has cut herbs, Rocambole garlic, and excellent heirloom tomatoes.
