The Fall season has arrived with gorgeous hot and sweet peppers at Oak Grove, Samascott, Campo Rosso, and other stands.

If you are intending to prepare heirloom and other tomatoes for the freezer or canning, this is an excellent weekend for it, with gorgeous tomatoes at Berried Treasures, Toigo, Norwich, Miglorelli, and others. Berried Treasures has many kinds of shelled beans today and will be here tomorrow as well.

Norwich has brussels sprouts on the stem and beautiful fresh local ginger.

Lucky Dog has fennel, beautiful carrots, and greens. Oak Grove, Miglorelli, Van Houten, and many others have good looking summer and winter squashes, and there are huge seedless watermelons at Mischick.  Bodhitree has taken the month off.
