Silver Heights is here with a wide variety of plants for city gardening, including greens, vegetables, herbs, and other unique sets. Next Wednesday will be their last day in the Greenmarket ever, as the farmers are retiring!

Bodhitree
Bodhitree is taking a  month off!!!!
Stokes sweet peppers
Everything is tempting in the market today, with colorful displays all around the park.  Along with the sad headline of our soon to be retired Silver Heights is the good news that Buzzard Krest will be back in the Greenmarket with luscious grapes and grape juices (maybe this coming Saturday!!!).

Stokes Farm, Eckerton, Oak Grove, Berried Treasures, and others have glorious collections of heirloom tomatoes in many sizes.  Eckerton and Oak Grove have many small and large hot and sweet peppers and several other farms have smaller collections of delicious varieties.

Bulich has beautiful portabello and other fresh mushrooms and Madura has several kinds as well.  Paffenroth has several unique vegetables, including puntarella, purslane, various mustard greens and kales, carrots, herbs, unusual shallots, daikon, and much, much more.
Berried Treasures fresh dried beans
Berried Treasures has fresh and dried shelling beans today!
S&SO artichokes
Bodhitree, Van Houten, Oak Grove, Kernan, and others have good looking melons, and Oak Grove, Caradonna, Terhune, and others have yellow and white peaches and plums.  Grapes are here at Fantasy Fruit, Locust Grove, and Caradonna, signalling Fall, despite the 90 degree weather!

The main thing is -- get out there as early as possible. This will be a scorcher!
