Norwich Meadows has bargain eggplants, peppers, and heirloom tomatoes for $2 a pound. They looked perfectly fine to me -- good for gazpacho, for instance.

Norwich "bruised" peppers
Old Mother Hubbert has several kinds of gelato and many farmers, including Lani, Phillips, and others,  have good looking melons of all kinds. Red Jacket has their delicious fruit juices and many kinds of peach and plum, and Troncillito has donut peaches, regular yellow and white peaches, and plums.

Fantasy Fruit has blueberries and Tri-Star strawberries, and Race has several kinds of stone fruit as well as vegetables and good looking boxes of mixed peppers.  Eckerton has several sizes of heirloom tomato as well as many kinds of hot peppers.

Lani has several types of basil and other cut herbs as well as eggplants, heirloom tomatoes, squashes, long beans, and several unique greens. Norwich has many varieties of shelling bean, string bean, and melons, along with baby artichokes, tomatillos, and other interesting produce.  Madura has various mushrooms and Blue Oyster has interesting new varieties of oyster mushroom, including pink!
