The season is definitely changing, but there are still many summer vegetables here, including many stands with heirloom tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, and corn. Eckerton, Cheerful Cherry, Cherry Lane, Norwich Meadows, Stokes, Oak Grove, Sycamore, and others have wide varieties of heirlooms, field tomatoes, and peppers.
Cato Corner has wonderful cheeses, including the last of the tasty Abondance, and the unusual Vivace Bambino and Dairyaire. Buzzard Crest has many delicious grape varieties, juices, and wines, and Cheerful Cherry has tasty grape and other preserves.
Eckerton and Oak Grove both have many hot pepper varieties, with almost no duplications! Hoeffner and others have good looking sweet peppers.
Cayuga has a new product, artisanal pastas, as well as beans, flours, and breads made from their flours by Orwashers.
