Eckerton has an extensive selection of peppers as well as a unique item, pawpaws! (I thought those were only in children's books or songs!) Oak Grove has an equally wide variety of peppers, and both have many delicious heirloom tomato varieties. This is the year to freeze heirlooms for the winter, as there are so many good ones! In addition to these two stands, some others with great ones are Stokes, Keith, Cherry Lane, Lani, and Cheerful Cherry.
There are still several stands with peaches, including Oak Grove, Locust Grove, and Caradonna. Excellent beans can be found at Norwich Meadows, Mountain Sweet Berry, S&SO, Lani, and others. Both Norwich Meadows and Lani have interesting Asian pepper varieties, and okra.
Flying Pig, Violet Hill, and Oak Grove have various pork cuts and sausages, and Oak Grove has beef as well. Violet Hill has some gorgeous wild mushrooms and Bulich has several kinds of cultivated mushrooms. Cut herbs can be found at Stokes, Keith, S&SO, Lani, and others and potted herbs are available at Oak Grove.
D'Attolico and Gorzynski have delicious greens and Paffenroth has beautiful carrots, radishes, onion family vegetables, and unusual greens.
Cayuga is back with dried beans, flours, and breads.
