Aunt Ruby's Back in Town!! Heirloom Tomatoes Galore!

Stokes Farm has their first Aunt Ruby tomatoes today! There are many stands with good looking heirloom tomatoes, squashes, eggplants, and melons. Just a few stands have lettuces, including Gorzynski and D'Attolico, but many have greens, like Norwich Meadows, Paffenroth, S&SO, and Miglorelli. You'll also find beets, radishes, fennel, and other great produce around the market. Several stands have peaches, including Locust Grove, Oak Grove, and Caradonna. Oak Grove has a fantastic assortment of hot and sweet peppers, and they and Norwich have a wide variety of melons. Fantasy Fruit is here with cultivated blueberries, and Violet Hill has good looking wild ones.

Mountain Sweet Berry has Tri-Star strawberries and Red Jacket should have tasty apricots (I was too early to see if they were in, but they told me yesterday that they'd have them today.). Stokes, Paffenroth, Miglorelli, and Keith have all kinds of cut herbs and Binder and Oak Grove have herb plants.
(Stokes has stevia, among others.) Violet Hill has unique mushrooms and Bulich has several kinds of mushrooms as well.

Cato Corner has delicious cheeses and you can once again taste before you buy. Cayuga has great ale bread to go with them. Ronnybrook has ice creams, milks, yogurts, butters, and cheeses.
