D'Attolico, Berried Treasures, Oak Grove, Paffenroth, Sycamore, Mountain Sweet Berry, and others are here with good-looking winter produce. I was made late by a delivery problem and couldn't take a serious look at each stand, but it looks as if the cold did get to what remained of summer vegetables for the most part. Still, there are beautiful squashes, peppers, cauliflowers, brussels sprouts, all kinds of potatoes, and other tasty vegetables available. I did manage to get some gorgeous chicken parts for my stock, and several farmers had turnips, leeks, carrots, and onions, so it should be good. I didn't see celery, but there ought to be some there.
You can order your turkey or other bird for Thanksgiving today from Violet Hill, Quattro's, and others.
