Stokes's many kinds of basil and heirloom tomatoes! Keith's French crisp lettuce and rocambole garlic! Eckerton's flavoring peppers! Peaches at Caradonna, Sycamore, Terhune, and Oak Grove! Berries at Phillips, Fantasy Fruit, and Caradonna! Corn at Paffenroth, Cherry Lane, and Sycamore. Mushrooms at Bulich, Madura, and Two Guys.

It is indeed high summer, but I did spot grapes the other day at Locust Grove and notice that the flowers coming in at River Garden and Dutchmill are fully richly red and gold, indicating the season is about to change soon.  If you put aside fruit and vegetables in your freezer or can them, now's the time to start.
