Fresh Flageolets! Baby French Leeks!

Mountain Sweet Berry has flageolets and other beans in the shell AND shelled, baby French leeks, sucrene lettuce, wild baby arugula, and other delicious and unusual produce. Sycamore, Cherry Lane, and Oak Grove all still have heirloom tomatoes, but carpe diem -- the chill of this morning tells me we're just about done. Stock up on garlic at D'Attolico, Stokes, and Keith, and raspberries at D'Attolico's stand. Northshire has gorgeous escarole and other beautiful Italian greens and Violet Hill has marvelous wild mushrooms. Gorzynsky has lovely lettuces and other greens and root vegetables. Oak Grove, Stokes, S&SO, and other farmers have pumpkins in many sizes. Stokes has big bunches of cut herbs and cilantro berries. The Binders are here with herb plants and beautiful flowering plants.

Oak Grove has tasty Macoun, Asian pear, and other fruit. Breezy Hill and other stands also have great apples and pears as well as ciders.

Quattro's has great poultry and eggs, as well as sausages and smoked meats. Violet Hill has poultry and meats and wonderful bacon and eggs and Three Corner Field Farm has lamb, cheeses, and yogurts.
