Deep Mountain says they will have their Grade B maple syrup next week. They have various other lighter syrups today.
Cheerful Cherry has beautiful plants today. They are more or less in their regular spot, as are most of the farmers whose stands are usually on the West Side of Union Square. You'll find Oak Grove's lovely mesclun and herb plants on the second level of the market on the South end of the square, along with Quattro's Game Farm (they have great Heritage chickens as well as ducks, geese, pheasant eggs, and other goodies today). Our Daily Bread and Shushan's hydroponic tomatoes and herbs are also on the second level. Rick Bishop (Mountain Sweet Berry) is here in his usual place on the West side of the market with crosnes and lovely tiny potatoes and Windfall Farm has great eggs and beautiful greens and edible flowers.
D'Attolico's luscious looking greens are to be found on the West side of the market, while Ronnybrook's butters, milks, ice creams, and yogurts are on the East end of the market along with Stokes beautiful herb and flowering plants, Durr's cut flowers and flowering branches, and other stands with potted plants.
Northshire is here with eggs and cabbages and Paffenroth (great root vegetables and herbs) and Gorzynsky (organic produce) are in their usual spots. Violet Hill hadn't arrived yet (sausages, eggs, pork and poultry), but Beth's Jams is in their usual place and there's another maple syrup stand near the West side subway entrance (they have grade B).
