Yuno's back! They have beautiful salad greens and broccoli rabe. They say that they will only have enough eggs for the Abingdon Square market, but the rest of their great produce will be here on Fridays and Mondays. Newfield Farm is here and will be here on
Fridays and Mondays with their beautiful and unusual tulips and
other flowers.
There's a new beef farmer in the Friday market, Grazin' Angus Acres, with Black Angus beef, pastured chicken, and eggs. I haven't tried their food yet, but it looks interesting. There's also a new dairy, Milk Thistle organic dairy farm.
Cheerful Cherry is here! They'll be here on Fridays and Saturdays with their good looking plants, tasty jams, and flowers. I can't wait for their luscious cherries to arrive!
New York Magazine's article about Deep Mountain's maple syrup was fine, except that the Grade B that they were rhapsodizing about isn't available yet. It's certainly worth the cudos, so keep checking.
I hear that Cherry Lane will be back tomorrow! I hope they'll bring their luscious asparagus!
