Artichokes at James Durr and Norwich Meadows. Eggplants everywhere -- all kinds of beautiful varieties. Squashes of many sizes, shapes, and flavors are here, too. Norwich Meadows, Oak Grove, and others have melons.

Red Jacket and others have apricots and Caradonna and Locust Grove have peaches and plums as well.  Bulich is here with tasty mushroom varieties and D'Attolico has sweet carrots.  Eckerton, Cherry Lane, Sycamore, and Norwich have heirloom tomatoes, and Stokes has cherry tomatoes that I eat like candy! Lani has unique greens and Windfall will also, when the rest of their produce arrives from the truck (which had a problem today). Hoeffner has very sweet corn (I just had some for breakfast) as well as big goodlooking tomatillos.

You'll find fine fruit and vegetables all around the Greenmarket this week. James Durr, Rose Meadow, and River Garden have beautiful flowers. Tremblay has delicious honey and Deep Mountain has great maple sugar products. Beth's Farm Kitchen has fruit syrups, jams, pickled vegetables, mustards, and other items.
