Bulletin from Union Square Greenmarket AND a sampling of which Greenmarket stands will be there:

Here's more about what's special this Friday:


"Grab your friends and family and come join us at the Union Square Greenmarket this Friday night for A Summer Night with Greenmarket Chefs. Our farmers will stick around until 8 pm and we've invited in some of the best restaurants in the city to serve you delicious seasonal dishes while you shop for strawberries, sugar snap peas and local honey. The event is FREE and open to the public, dishes and drinks are sold from individual stands.
  
There will also be a beer garden where you can grab a glass of beer, wine or cider to sip on while you listen to the stylings of great Latin Jazz percussionist, Ray Mantilla."

All of your favorite Friday Greenmarket farmers will be in attendance, along with these restaurants selling individual dishes, desserts and beverages:

Bodhitree, Norwich Meadows, Queens County Farm Museum, Flying Pig, Pura Vida fish, Consider Bardwell cheese and veal, Beth's Farm Kitchen jam, Miglorelli, Stokes, Oak Grove, Samascott, Madura,  Las Delicias pastries, Dutchmill flowers, Rose Meadow flowers, Two Guys hydroponic greens, Roaming Acres meats.
