Heirloom tomatoes are still here at Keith, Stokes, Oak Grove, Berried Treasures, and Cherry Lane! Brussels sprouts at Cherry Lane, Bodhitree, and other stands. Tomatillos at Oak Grove, S&SO, and other stands. Kales and other greens at Paffenroth, Keith, Stokes, Tamarack, and S&SO.

Quinces at Locust Grove! Many grape varieties at Buzzard Crest! Pumpkins at Sycamore, Stokes, Oak Grove, Van Houten, and others.

Violet Hill has chickens, pork, eggs, and mushrooms. Bulich has several kinds of mushroom also. Quattro's has ducks, chickens, sausages, pheasants (many sizes), and eggs.  Flying Pigs has pork products and chickens.  Hudson River Duck Farm has ducks and many kinds of duck products, including smoked duck breast and rillettes.

 Lani has an extensive variety of produce, including eggplants, beans, greens, broccoli rabe, and sweet potatoes. Eckerton has many kinds of peppers, radishes, heirloom tomatoes, and greens.  Stokes has lovely cut herbs, small potatoes, squashes, heirloom tomatoes, and fennel.

 Norwich Meadows has fresh ginger, winter squashes, peppers, heirloom tomatoes, fennel, greens, and other delicious produce.  S&SO has a wide variety of produce, including tomatoes, herbs, greens, and squashes, and D'Attolico has their sweet small carrots, greens, peppers, and sprouts. Ryder is here with tasty turnips and other produce and Keith has rocambole garlic, greens, herbs, tomatoes, and gorgeous salad greens.

 Breezy Hill has several kinds of apples, ciders, pears, and pastries.  PE&dd has beautiful fish and shellfish, and Seatuck has great looking shellfish, tuna, and other seafood.

Things are slowing down, but there are still good finds in Union Square! Look carefully and you'll see heirloom tomatoes that are still pretty tasty, beautiful cauliflower varieties, interesting potatoes, and plenty of cut herbs. And PUMPKINS!!

Hot and sweet peppers at Eckerton and Oak Grove, sweet potatoes at Cherry Lane, Paffenroth, and Bodhitree, kale varieties all around the market, and pumpkins at Sycamore, Oak Grove, and Stokes.  Good looking heirloom tomatoes at Stokes, Berried Treasures, Eckerton, Keith,and other stands.

 Tamarack, Rogowski, Bodhitree, Oak Grove, S&SO, Stokes, Paffenroth,  and others have still got a wide variety of produce.  Mountain Sweet Berry and Berried Treasures are in an area that had 31 degrees last night, so the chills are coming and the best advice is catch their unique vegetables while you can -- today, if possible.  Mountain Sweet Berry has the last of their shelled beans today, for instance.

Paw paws at Windfall! Chestnuts at Eckerton! Beautiful San Marzanos at Cherry Lane! Tasty carrots at Hawthorne! Shelling beans at Berried Treasures, along with red and gold raspberries!

 Many colors of carrot at Paffenroth, along with interesting greens, corn, herbs, parsley root, celeriac. Bodhitree has Japanese sweet potatoes, puntarella, cranberry beans.

 Tamarack also has shelling beans. Keith, Stokes, Sycamore, Cherry Lane, Bodhitree, and Eckerton have good looking heirloom tomatoes.  Cherry Lane has broccoli, brussels sprouts, fairy tale and other eggplants, and other produce. Sycamore has corn, cucumbers, field tomatoes, and other produce.

Kernan has peaches, beans, and other produce. Caradonna also has peaches, as well as grapes, apples, pears, and other fruit.  Terhune has new crop apples.  Berried Treasures has Tri-star strawberries.

Blue Moon fish has great looking fresh fish, Roaming Acres has bison, ostrich, sausages, and pork. Feather Ridge has chickens, chicken parts, and eggs.

Black walnuts at Paffenroth! Chestnuts at Eckerton!

Did a fast walk around the market and saw that it is pretty much a duplicate of last Saturday's, so check below for last week's report. I did go to pick up an order, but am a little under the weather, so I don't have pictures this week. I'll be back in the market next Saturday. I'm going to visit one of our farmers near Beacon next Wednesday, and am looking forward to it!

Thanks to the warm weather, there are still many delicious heirloom tomatoes, summer squashes, and summer beans here today.

 Check Stokes, Oak Grove, Eckerton, Sycamore, Cherry Lane, Bodhitree, Berried Treasures, and others for heirloom and other tomatoes. Berried Treasures has a wide variety of shelling beans, and Eckerton and others have one or two varieties.

 Bodhitree and Berried Treasures have beautiful string beans as well.  Stokes, Cherry Lane, Keith, Oak Grove, and Mountain Sweet Berry have great sauce tomatoes.

Stokes has big generous bunches of cut herbs and beautiful greens, and Paffenroth has a wide variety of kales and other greens.  Van Houten has peppers, tomatoes, and corn, and S&SO, Oak Grove, and Eckerton have many kinds of hot and sweet peppers.

Bulich has several types of mushroom and handy grab-and-go $5 bags of four kinds.  New season apples can be found at several stands, including Locust Grove and Caradonna.
