It's a grim drizzly day, but the Greenmarket is colorful and welcoming, with flowers, jams, Christmas decorations and gifts, and tasty pastries. Try Las Delicias's big and small fruit galettes, Flying Pig's sausages, chickens, and pork products, Beth's Farm Kitchen's ketchup, sauces, mustards, and jams, and Mountain Sweet Berry's beautiful wreaths. River Garden is here with pretty dried flowers and Rose Meadow has the first big selection of anemones, as well as lovely roses. Roaming Acres has bison, pork, and beef in addition to ostrich meat, and Norwich Meadows and Rogowsky have great root vegetables and greens. Samascott and Oak Grove also have great root vegetables and pumpkins and Samascott and others have cider. Oak Grove also has colorful hot peppers. Mountain Sweet Berry has small potatoes and crosnes, and Treelicious has apples and vegetables. Queens County Farm Museum and Muddy River also have greens and root vegetables, and Madura has several kinds of mushroom.
