Good news -- Berried Treasures and Mountain Sweet Berry Have Tri-Star Strawberries!! Bad News - Little or no sweet or tart local cherries this year!!

Locust Grove has a few boxes of tart cherries today, but says there will be few if any local cherries this year, due to freezes in April.  There will probably be smallish peaches as well as plums and nectarines.  Sycamore is usually first in with gorgeous strawberries, but they lost the first crop this year. They will have strawberries later, though.  Many stands including Phillips, Caradonna, Stokes, Cherry Lane, Bodhitree, and others have strawberries, and the Tri-Stars are here and sweet.

Stokes has delicious cherry tomatoes and the beginning of their heirlooms, and Cherry Lane has tasty greenhouse heirlooms as well. Eckerton has the first of their sungold cherry tomatoes today.  KEITH is here as well, with cut herbs, greens, young garlic, and lettuces.  Madura has good-looking greens and other produce and Rogowski has a beautiful new Japanese turnip variety as well as other produce.  Berried Treasures has small potatoes and sunchokes and Mountain Sweet Berry has Lamborne pea shoots, baby arugula, and other small greens, including beautiful sucrine lettuce. S&SO and Migloreill have plentiful produce as well.
