Salsify, Black Radishes, Jerusalem Artichokes, Creminis

There are plenty of interesting vegetables in the market today, including Shushan's tasty cherry tomatoes, D'Attolico's young onions and sprouts, Two Guys' lettuces, herbs, and shitake mushrooms, and a wide selection of root vegetables from Paffenroth, Windfall, and Miglorelli.

Quattro's has delicious poultry, sausages, venison and venison products, and GOOSE EGGS!!! They also have chicken and DUCK EGGS. Northshire has chicken eggs and Violet Hill has great Belle Rouge chicken and chicken parts, and eggs. Cayuga has amazing ale bread and whole wheat bread as well as grains and beans.

Cato Corner has succulent cheeses (my favorites -- Brigid's Abbey, Dairyaire, and Farmstead). Patches of Sky and Valley Shepherd Artisanal also have tasty cheeses. Ronnybrook is here with butters, milks, ice creams, and yogurts, and Tonjes has buttermilk, yogurt, and cheeses.
