Locust Grove CHERRIES!

Stokes, Keith, and others have the new crop of garlic and garlic scapes. Stokes, Lani, and Cherry Lane have various squashes and Lani has SQUASH BLOSSOMS! Mountain Sweet Berry has wild arugula, tiny strawberries, and other unique produce, and a huge long line at 8:30! Quattro's has chicken, turkey, and pheasant eggs as well as all sorts of poultry, sausages, and fresh ducks and duck parts, chickens and chicken parts, and smoked poultry. Paffenroth has BABY FENNEL!

Seatuck and PE&DD are both here with delicious fish and shellfish. Seatuck has scungilli, razor clams, and other unique items and PE&DD has cooked lobsters in addition to their excellent shellfish and other seafood. Three Corner Field Farm has yogurt, cheeses, and succulent lamb cuts. Norwich, Keith,Eckerton, and Gorzynski have beautiful organic produce and Cherry Lane, Stokes, Sycamore, Paffenroth, and S&SO have a wide assortment of delicious produce as well. (Cherry Lane's greenhouse heirloom season is winding down, but their excellent field heirlooms will be coming in soon.)

There are luscious strawberries all over the market, with Stokes, Locust Grove, Cherry Lane, and others bringing in several different kinds. Locust Grove has started their cherry season as well. Gorzynski and Locust Grove have rhubarb. Eckerton has sugar snap peas and shell peas and Cherry Lane, Lani, and others have asparagus.

River Garden is bringing in the first of their beautiful bouquets and Rose Meadow has lovely roses and sweet peas (the ones I bought from them last week were beautiful, fragrant, and longish lasting).
