Grapes, Apples, Pears, Plums, Peaches!! Lot's of Okra and Corn!

Cheerful Cherry has the last of their excellent peaches today. They also have many kinds of cherry tomato and some other tomatoes, and will have more next week. Jim is making his own Serrano pepper preserves, which I'm going to try today. Locust Grove has peaches, nectarines, and good-looking apples and pears. Eckerton has many delicious hot peppers and heirloom tomatoes as well as raspberries and a couple of kinds of okra. Fantasy Fruit is here with blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and grapes. (Speaking of strawberries, Mountain Sweet Berry seems to have taken the holiday weekend off and isn't here today.) Buzzard Crest has grapes and grape juices.

Several stands have melons, including Hoeffner, Oak Grove, Norwich Meadows, and Cherry Lane Farm. There's plenty of corn at Paffenroth, Sycamore, Cherry Lane, Oak Grove, and other stands and squashes and squash blossoms at Windfall Farm's stand. Windfall also has other edible flowers, mesclun, various greens, and baby squashes. Cherry Lane has a lot of okra, fairytale eggplant, and tomatoes. Gorzynski has beautiful lettuce and other organic produce. Northshire has lovely Genovese basil, cress, eggplant, and heirloom tomatoes. D'Attolico has excellent squashes, greens, sprouts, beans, and shallots. Keith has tomatoes, greens, garlic, and cut herbs. Norwich has a wide variety of beans, peppers, greens, and heirloom tomatoes.

Dutch Mill Garden is here with gorgeous gladiolas and other flowers and says they will probably have some lyciantus next Saturday!! (Get there early!) River Garden has bouquets of wildflowers. Binder is here with wonderful flowering potted plants and lush herb plants.

Three Corner Field Farm has lamb cuts, yogurt, cheeses, and wool. Quattro's has chicken parts, all sorts of poultry including pheasant, pheasant sausage, and eggs. Violet Hill is here with Belle Rouge chickens and mushrooms.
