Lima Beans, Fryable Green Tomatoes, Stone Fruit

The traffic on the East Side is going to be a horrorshow today, with the 3rd Ave. TAMA fair from 14th to 23rd and the Park Avenue bicycle fest closing several streets to cars. If you do brave the craziness, remember that Sycamore is bringing in a second load of corn around noon and that Norwich, Cheerful, Sycamore, Stokes, Oak Grove, and Berried Treasure will all be here with the same produce they brought yesterday. See below. Mountain Sweet Berry has already run out of their luscious Italian sauce tomatoes but should have plenty on Wednesday. Windfall has big bags of mixed squash. Cherry Lane has lima beans and Cheerful Cherry has beautiful heirloom tomatoes, as do Eckerton and Sycamore.

Berried Treasures has beautiful Romano and other beans as well as the sweetest sungold cherry tomatoes. D'Attolico has big green tomatoes for frying. Locust Grove, Terhune, and Oak Grove have peaches and other stone fruit and Durr has large blackberries. Fantasy Fruit is selling their blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries at $10 for three boxes, your choice.
