Violet Hill has gorgeous mushrooms this week. Sycamore, Stokes, Oak Grove, and others have great looking pumpkins. Locust Grove has quinces that look ready for use today! Several stands including Norwich Meadows, Hodgeson, and others have several varieties of cauliflower and broccoli. Many stands have brussels sprouts either off the stem (like Cherry Lane) or on the branch. Buzzard Crest has delicious white and red grape juice and terrific local grapes and will be here at least through the second weekend in November. Stokes still has good looking heirloom tomatoes and herbs, but it does look like this may be the last hurrah for other stands.
Keith is here with organic pumpkins, greens, root vegetables, rocambole garlic, and cut herbs. Shushan is back for the winter with hydroponic herbs, lettuces and tomatoes. Miglorelli has fennel, apples, pears, and other produce. Sycamore and Cherry Lane have corn. Cherry Lane has good looking heirloom tomatoes. Eckerton has cardoons! Berried Treasures and Paffenroth have an excellent selection of large and small potato varieties and Paffenroth has a big selection of onion family vegetables.
