Well, sorry to be so late, but I was enjoying a delicious breakfast at Maialino, one of the restaurants which use a lot of Greenmarket produce in their menu. I strolled down afterwards to see what was happening in the market and found lots of eggplant, heirloom tomato, melon, peach, and hot and sweet pepper varieties all around the square. Norwich Farm, Bodhitree, Muddy River, Sycamore, Miglorelli, and others have their usual fresh and delicious produce. Cheerful Cherry has peaches, plums, and heirloom tomatoes, and Oak Grove has a wide variety of hot peppers, sweet peppers, squashes, peaches, and other delicious items.
This is the time of year when you really can't miss. And Bobolink is back with their tasty cheeses and will have bread in a few weeks. Cayuga has several kinds of beans and their excellent whole wheat bread and will have more kinds of bean in a couple of months. Lavender By The Bay is here with delicious honey and John Fazio has their mixed egg package and Hawaiian Rabbit ready to cook.
