Heirloom tomato and peach fests continue! Toigo, Oak Grove, Samascot, Sycamore, and others have delicious varieties of both. This is the last of Toigo's yellow donut peaches. Norwich has several kinds of ripe and ready melons.

Oak Grove, Norwich Meadows, Miglorelli, Bodhitree, and others have delicious looking squashes and a wide choice of shelling and string beans.Sycamore, Van Houten, Miglorelli, and others have corn.

Berried Treasures has Tri-Star strawberries and red currants. Norwich has field strawberries and raspberries and Samascot has blueberries and strawberries.

Heirloom Tomato Fest! Aunt Rubys at Stokes, Paul Robesons at Keith's, San Marzanos at Cherry Lane, and many beautiful varieties all around the Greenmarket!

Eckerton has many varieties of cherry tomato and small tomatoes as well as their usual array of choice heirloom and other tomatoes, including San Marzano, Amish Paste, and other sauce tomatoes.

Bodhitree also has many heirloom varieties as does Oak Grove. Oak Grove also has a large range of hot and sweet peppers. S&SO has their great bargain mixed boxes of small hot peppers.

Eggplant is also widely available, with fairytale, white, striped, deep purple, Japanese, and other kinds on many stands.  There are also good looking squashes and melons of all kinds all around the market.

There are also interesting beans, including rattlesnake beans at Berried Treasures and curly green and yellow beans at Mountain Sweet Berry.

Many kinds of cut herbs are available at Stokes, Berried Treasures, and other stands, including chervil, sorrel, and various mints.

Herbs in pots are here at Oak Grove and Silver Heights, and Silver Heights has several kinds of potted greens, including arugula and other bitter greens, and lush looking potted lettuces.

Oak Grove and Caradonna have white and yellow peaches and Caradonna and others have nectarines. Locust Grove has peaches and plums as well as berries and currants (the white ones are going fast), and Fantasy Fruit has strawberries and blueberries.  Phillips has blackberries and raspberries.

Norwich Meadows has a huge selection of shelling beans, string beans, peppers, heirloom tomatoes, squashes, and melons. Lani also has many kinds of bean, heirloom tomato, herbs, greens, and peppers.

In fact, many stands have good-looking heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and squashes.  Eckerton, for instance, has a wide variety of hot peppers, large heirloom tomatoes, and other sizes of tomato down to tiny! (By the way, I heard a rumor that this is Tim Stark's twentieth year! He's been growing beautiful produce for a long time.)

 Blue Oyster is here with pink oyster mushrooms and several other kinds, and Madura has porcini and other mushrooms as well.

Red Jacket has several tasty varieties of plum, as do Truncillito and others.  Several stands have yellow and red donut peaches, nectarines, and peaches.
Phillips has peaches and berries.  Fantasy Fruit has blueberries and Tri-Star strawberries. Norwich has red and yellow raspberries.

Norwich Meadows has a wide selection of shelling beans this week, along with various peppers, greens, and heirloom tomatoes, and artichokes. Northshire also has artichokes, along with other greens and eggs. Eckerton has several heirloom and other varieties of sauce tomatoes and has stared bringing in their excellent hot peppers.

Consider Bardwell has pork cuts in addition to their delicious cheeses this week. Red Jacket has their summer season sweet cherry stomp. Norwich has a wide array of melons and Phillips has beautiful plump blueberries along with red currants and blackberries.

Rising Sun has chickens and chicken parts. Roaming Acres has bison meat and ostrich eggs.  Las Delicias has great looking fruit tarts, muffins, and other pastries. Lani has long beans, heirloom tomatoes and various squashes.  PE&DD has fresh fish and seafood. (I saw a lobster at the stand, so I'd guess they have more in a cooler.)
