Tri Star Strawberries! Zucchini! Sungold Cherry Tomatoes!

Berried Treasures has Tri-Star strawberries, lambs quarters, herbs, and several kinds of small potatoes. Two Guys is here with greens and herbs. Norwich has garlic scapes, fresh garlic, several greens, baby carrots,and the first of their baby zucchini. Stokes has strawberries and greenhouse tomatoes as well as several cut and potted herbs and flowering plants. Miglorelli has sugar snap peas and shell peas and Samascott has strawberries and rhubarb. Bodhitree has sungold cherry tomatoes, greens, young garlic, leeks, garlic scapes, herbs and strawberries. Oak Grove has heirloom tomato and hot pepper plants, edible flowers, and their excellent corn meal. Muddy River has nettles, bok choi, and other greens. Cheerful Cherry has beautiful flowering and tomato plants. Cayuga is here with their delicious whole wheat bread, spelt flour, half and whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, and beans. (They're all the way at the West end of the market.)

Sycamore's Back With Sweet Strawberries! Mountain Sweet Berry and Berried Treasures Have Watercress!

Sycamore's first appearance this season has them here with their long anticipated sweet and tasty berries. Other stands with strawberries include Stokes, Bodhitree, Cherry Lane, and Locust Grove. Berried Treasures has the first of their strawberries as well. S&SO and Hoeffner have rhubarb as well as asparagus and S&SO has a wide variety of reasonably priced produce. Honey Hollow has angelica, ramps, dried mushrooms, porcini powder, and other unusual items. Ronnybrook has some new cheeses, blueberry ice cream and other flavors, drinkable yogurts, milks, and butters. Cherry Lane has greenhouse heirloom tomatoes, spinach, lettuce, sugar snap peas, and potatoes. Cayuga, Hot Bread Kitchen, and Our Daily Bread are here with their distinctive offerings. Cayuga has the last of their delicious dried beans, Hot Bread Kitchen has lavash and other regional breads, and Our Daily Bread has various European breads and scones.

Kohlrabi, Sugar Snaps, Asparagus, Strawberries!

Maxwell has kohlrabi, strawberries, asparagus, lettuces, and other produce. Phillips has sugar snap peas (the only one today), broccoli rabi, asparagus, and many greens. Lani has asparagus, strawberries, salad and braising greens, and young onions that are already pretty big. Scarborough has lush potted dill and other herbs. Anna's Newfield Farm is now called Dutchmill. She's brought in the last of her gorgeous peonies and Dutch irises today. PE&DD have delicious fresh fish and seafood, including steamed lobsters.

Early Bird Catches the Sugar Snaps!

Well, 8AM isn't early enough! By the time I got to Eckerton all of their sugar snaps and shell peas were gone! They still have a lot of delicious greens and heirloom radishes. Cherry Lane's strawberries are here and they still have great asparagus and greenhouse heirloom tomatoes. Binder and Oak Grove have beautiful herb and other potted plants and Stokes has great cut herbs and flowering plants. Silver Heights, Oak Grove, and Cheerful Cherry have lush heirloom tomato and other vegetable plants.
Quattro's has all sorts of poultry as well as duck, turkey, and chicken eggs. Northshire has tasty greens and eggs. Gorzynsky has beautiful lettuces and other organic greens and D'Attolico has mint, salad mix, and young garlic. Mountain Sweet Berry has wild baby arugula, young garlic, young onions, and chives.
Three Corner Field Farm has a new long lasting tallow based soap as well as fresh sheep's milk ricotta and their excellent lamb cuts and beautiful wool.

New Duck and Rabbit Farm! Angus Grass Fed Beef Farm!

John Fazio Farms will be here on Fridays with ducks and rabbits. Grazin' Angus Acres has been here for a while with various meats and will start having chickens next Friday. Norwich has greens and their first organic strawberries, along with leeks, onions, and scallions. Bodhitree has strawberries, rainbow kale and other braising greens, salad greens, and sugar snaps, in addition to young garlic. Stokes has lemon balm, chives, sorrel, and other cut herbs. Samascott has rhubarb AND strawberries (Pie, crumble, compote!!) Berried Treasures has various small European style potatoes, greens, herbs, and "wild hearts of palm". Several stands have strawberries.

Cayuga is here with great whole wheat bread and all sorts of wonderful flours. Our Daily Bread has various breads and scones.

Hot Bread bakery, Morels, Sugar Snap Peas

Hot Bread bakery has delicious whole wheat rolls and other breads and focaccia. Cayuga is here with their excellent whole what bread and various grains and flours. Hoeffner and Stokes have purple and green asparagus. Stokes has tasty cut herbs and Oak Grove has lush herb plants, mesclun windowsill gardens, pepper and tomato plants, popping corn, and pork products. Nevia and Cherry Lane have strawberries and asparagus and Cherry Lane has greenhouse heirloom tomatoes. Beth's Jam is here with jams, chutneys, and pickled vegetables.

Late note: I just found out that Hot Bread Kitchen uses Cayuga flours in their breads!

Only two more weeks for peonies! Cut and potted herbs have arrived!
