Cherry Lane's delicious sweet potatoes may be featured in New York Magazine's next issue, deservedly so. Potato fans should be having a great time right now with Paffenroth's excellent wide variety as well. Berried Treasure and Mountain Sweet Berry, neither of whom I saw this morning, both have great small European-style potatoes. And what goes better with potatoes than onions? Paffenroth has many kinds as well as leeks.

Sycamore is here with gorgeous pumpkins in many sizes, but will have their final market day this coming Saturday. Eckerton has their wonderful hot peppers and pepper bunches today and will be coming in as long as they are able.

Today is Cheerful Cherry's last for the season. They have grapes, grape juice, and plants. Sycamore's last day will probably be next Saturday, although there's a chance that they will be here with pumpkins and other vegetables for another day or two after that. Mountain Sweet Berry has four kinds of fresh shelled beans vacuum-packed: canellinni, tarbais, borlotti, and flageolet. You can keep them in the refrigerator for about three weeks or freeze them in their packages for the winter. He also has crosnes.

Northshire has gorgeous vegetables, including genuine black Italian kale and huge cabbages. Three Corner Field Farm is here with tasty lamb and yogurt.

S&S0, Gorzynski, Norwich, D'Attiloco, and Paffenroth still have plenty of beautiful produce.

Cherry Lane has good-looking heirloom tomatoes and says next weekend will be the last for those. They also have lima beans and fresh dug sweet potatoes. Stokes has great pumpkins at $3.50 for any size.
